Our classes are designed to suit all levels, from beginners to advanced knitters. Check our schedule to find the perfect class for you.
Materials Needed
There is a few basic materials that you need to source. I offer basic knit kits as well.
1. Yarn about 200 yarns of a decent quality yarn that is of a gauge that you are comfortable knitting with. I recommend DK or WORSTED. I personally use 100% wool or an alpaca blend.
2. Knitting needles, I use wooden there are are metal ones, but they are more slippery and typically for advanced knitters.
3. Some sort of stitch markers to annotate the beginning of your rounds or showing the start of your section.
4. A pattern you would like to learn, there is a huge database of basic free patterns from ravelry.com. I highly recommend a small scarf, cowl, or a simple beanie.
5. Optional a cute notions bag to put all your smaller accessories like a tape measure or darning needles.
